The Voluntary Worksite Programs give employees access to enhanced coverage that might not otherwise be available to them. Employees can choose and pay for only the extra protection they feel they need the most, which they can purchase with pre-tax dollars.
Employers also profit. For every dollar of pre-tax premium the employee pays, the employer saves on Workers Compensation and the 7.65% match of FICA on that same dollar. These savings can be used to increase the employer's bottom line and/or to add additional employee benefits at little or no net cost to the employer.
